Mick's funeral will take place at Chorleywood House cemetery at 12.30pm on Monday Feb 25th....
Mick died in hospital at 11.35am.
He had become unwell last Friday and had
informed friends he was going to see the doctor,
but was then admitted to hospital on Saturday February 9th - a
day we all remember, it being the anniversary of Brian's death.
Unfortunately Mick's health went downhill and he finally passed
away earlier today. With him were his family including his wife
Janet, his daughter Ayston, niece Angela with her husband Martin,
and his close friend Elliott Tuffin.
From Steve Priest:
"I am afraid to have to inform everyone that Mick Tucker
passed away about around midday today. It was from complications
brought on by the leukemia he survived five years ago. Please
respect his wife and family. We are all really devastated at his
passing and will miss him dreadfully."
From Andy Scott: "Mick Tucker was the best drummer around
in the 70's. I played in the same band as him and was proud
to do so. I feel extreme sadness therefore that he has now
left us and my heart goes out to Janet and Ayston with their
Miss you Mick - and then there were two".

Michael Tomas Tucker
Born in Ruislip, London July 17th 1947.
Died February 14th 2002.
183cm tall with darkbrown hair and blue eyes.
At first Mick didn't have any plans of being a popstar.
In his schoolyears he listened to Elvis like everyone else in those days,
but his real idol was the English soccerplayer Sir Stanley Matthews.
And as he turned out to be one of the greatest drummers ever,
I don't think he regrets leaving his sports career behind him.
Mick is playing on Ludwig drums.
We all know that Mick is a very good drummer, but did you know he's a vocalist too.
He sings lead on some of the songs on the album "Cut above the rest" for ex. "Doria Gray"
and "Eye games"
and "Own up" on "Waters Edge".Yes, Yes, It's him on "The man with the golden arm".
