Drivers

IBusComM (broken link) Understands IBus traffic. Version 1.0.72

IBusComM is an exe files that reads the IBus messages and throw them at configured window. One window. The RoadRunner front-end.

Application

Runtime files needed. link2

Voice command

Another input to RR is the microphone connected to the external USB SoundBlaster-Live device. Its input is voice commands!

SAPI 5.1 (old version?) Windows Speech version 5.1

Voice output

.NET 1.1 Required by PhoneControl

PowerStrip Version 3.6 (3.7 now available)

Video output is generated by a pci graphics board that is setup by powerstrip.

VNC Virtual Network Computing 3.3.7.

Sometimes a keyboard and mouse is required. During system maintenance for instance. That is done via USB ethernet networkboard with a second PC running VNC viewer. The CarPC has got a VNC server.

GPS Gate

Required to get position data to both GooPs tracking sw and PC Navigation. There are available freeware like XPort3

GooPs

Tracking application. Sends tracking data to ftp server periodically. This is run as a service or driver and is not visible. Still I have an own page for that sw since it is a quite unique car community sw. the freeware version is sufficient for my needs.

Phone Remote Control

The telephone can be used as mouse and keyboard!

BroadCom Driver. 4.0.1.2900.

My phone to work as remote control. Easy. Initiated from phone. (Phone is automatically connected as HID Device)

I want the PC to make and receive calls. This works. (Phone is automatically connected as COM port)

I want the PC to work as headset to phone. (Phone is voice gate device) Help may be found here

I want to be able to play music on the phone onto PC. (not that important. Audio Gateway?)

I want to be able to play music from PC onto headphones. (not that important. Audio Gateway?)

Why is it that I have to pair my mobile every time I boot the PC? And why does it not seem to work after I've connected to work PC? Why do I have to cancel connection at boot?

USB GPS Receiver and IBus interface

Once I put the receiver on my balcony it started to generate proper data.

Before that I downloaded a trial version of Franson GPSGata 2.0. i set that up to simulate data consistent with
me driving up and down my street at 18 km/h. I logged that data so that I can resend it when the 14 days trial licence
has expired.

I've bought GPS Gate so that it can give GPS data to both Navigator and GooPs tracking system.
