If you have read my Who Am I? page, you know I'm a Christian (and if you haven't read it, you know it now). This is a collection of some of the citations of the Holy Bible that for different reasons mean the most to me. I've chosen not to comment on then or try to explain why a certain quotation means something to me; I have let them speak for themselves.       The English citations are from King James' Version, KJV. The Swedish ones are from Bibel 2000, the latest Swedish translation. Neh.9:6 Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.       -- Neh 9:6 Du, Herre, är den ende. [11] När jag var barn talade jag som ett barn, förstod som ett barn och tänkte som ett barn. Men sedan jag blev vuxen har jag lagt bort det barnsliga. [12] Ännu ser vi en gåtfull spegelbild; då skall vi se ansikte mot ansikte. Ännu är min kunskap begränsad; då skall den bli fullständig som Guds kunskap om mig. [13] Men nu består tro, hopp och kärlek, dessa tre, och störst av dem är kärleken. 2Cor.1:4 [4] [God] comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.       -- 2 Kor 1:4 Han tröstar oss i alla våra svårigheter, så att vi med den tröst vi själva får av gud kan trösta var och en som har det svårt. Gal.3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.       -- Gal 3:28 Nu är ingen längre jude eller grek, slav eller fri, man eller kvinna. Alla är ni ett i Kristus Jesus. Eph.4:5-6 [5] One Lord, one faith, one baptism, [6] One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.       -- Ef 4:5-6 [5] En är Herren, en är tron, ett är dopet, [6] en är Gud och allas fader, han som står över allting, verkar genom allt och finns i allt. 1Pet.4:14-16 [14] If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. [15] But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. [9] In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
