This is a summary of some facts about the Frykman Family.
Mainly branches leading to my family are followed.

Our first known ancestors are found in a swedish book called "Första Jordeboken" The First Book of the County. It mentioned a farm and a land owner, called Lars, "Lasse i Råda" , born (estimated) about 1490 .

This farm called Framgården is located at Fryksende (north end of lake Övre Fryken) north of Torsby (at Råda or Råum, now Rådom, Ganterud) between the small lakes Velen and Flaten in Värmland. The next person is Lars son Nils Larsson in Råda:

Nils Larsson had two sons:

Bonde Nilsson was married to Ingjärd Wennerlöf. Inggerd was probably born about 1560 (estimated), dead 1665 (more than 100 years old, according to the books).

His son Nils Bondesson in Rådom was married to Inggerd Stensdotter-Halfvordsson (b about 1590, d 1660?). There children were:

Jon Nilsson became a member of parliament in1675. He married Gertrud Persdotter from Björkesse (Björke, Börkfors) had four sons:

Eric Jonas Jonsson took the name Frykman (from the three Fryken lakes in Värmland), probably about 1675 . He became a priest 1680. 1683 he was vicar at Väse and married (18 aug 1683 in Sunne) Sara Hasselbom. 1697 he became a member of parliament. Sara Hasselbom was born 1662 and died 1733 . Eric Frykman died 1720. They also had some children (12):

Magnus Johannes Frykman was a vicar in Rudskoga. He married 28 Jan 1722 Anna Christina Hamn. Anna Christina was born 4 Jul 1695, ded 6 Feb 1767. She was doughter to Magistrate Christopher Ersson Hamn and Anna Christina Roman from Kristinehamn. There children were:

Erik Frykman lived at the homestead Sunnebol in Rudskoga. He was married to Magdalena Maria von Bähr, doughter to the Captain Petter von Bähr and Magdalena Lagerlöf. Magdalena was born 3 Jun 1725 in Södra Råda, dead 1803. They had 8 children:

Anna Magdalena Frykman was married twice. First time ( 10 Apr 1775 in Rudskoga) to the farmer Bengt Johansson, born 1751? in ?, dead 26 Mars 1814 in Finnerödja Örebro . She lived in Norra Gren, Rudskoga until 1782. Second marriage (summer 1797 in Rasbo Uppland? ) to the state constable Frans Sporrong, born 28 Febr in Forsmark 1754, dead 8 Oct 1828 in Skeke Rasbo. She did not have any children with Frans Sporrong. She had one child with Bengt Johansson:

The farmer Magnus Bengtsson-Frykman lived in Norra Gren in Rudskoga until 1782. After 1782 he lived at Sunnebol in Rudskoga until 1793. He moved to Skyllersta? 1793? and married (31 Mars 1797 in Skyllersta) Anna Maria Bergström born 27 Dec 1774 in Östra Harg in Östergötland, dead 28 Aug 1849 in Övergården. Then they moved to Karlsborg in Örebro Län 1799?. After 1803? they moved to Karlsborg, Skaraborgs Län. They moved to Finnerödja in Örebro Län 1810?. They had 7 children:

The crofter Erik Magnus Frykman maried (24 Oct 1841 in Hjärtum) Anna Olofsdotter West born 23 Nov 1818 in Hjärtum, dead 18 May 1878 in Hjärtum. They lived at the farmstead Mellangården in village Vesten in Hjärtum outside of Trollhättan. Their children were:

August Georg Frykman married (1889-01-27 in Trollhättan) Anna Lovisa Andersson from Hölö outside of Södertälje south of Stockholm. She was born 25 Dec 1857 and died 18 Jul 1926 in Stockholm. They first moved to Trollhättan (1888?) and then to Stockholm 9 May 1893. They had 5 children:

Ernst Erik Frykman maried (16 April 1921 in Stockholm) Judith Maria Elisabeth Jonsson from Norr Böda in Öland. They lived in Stockholm and then moved to Västerås in 1927. They had four children.

Ernst Arne Frykman married (28 Jan 1956 in Uppsala) Gun Nilsson b 20 Sept 1932. They separated in 1968. They have two children.

Ernst Arne married 1975 Britt Siggstedt, b 17 April 1945 in Hudiksvall and have two children.

Jan Frykman and Rosmarie Nilsson , b 1966 in Malmö, have two children (twins).
