The first Martin
known of is Fredrich Martin, b 1 May 1786 in Ösel
(Saaremaa) an island in Estonia, d 27 Aug 1860 in Follingbo, Gotland.
He came from Ösel to Gotland 6 Aug 1812. His father probaly
come from Belgium or France via Germany and Poland. The family
was probably Wallonic. Fredrich was working at Rosendahl
castle (Follingbo) Gotland and married (18 June 1815) Anna
Eskilsdotter, b 1795? in Hogrän
Gotland. They had five children:
- Anna Lovisa Martin, b 13 sept 1814 in
Follingbo.
- Carl Fredrich Martin, b 6 Okt 1816 in
Follingbo.
- Jacob (Jan) Petter Martin, b 5 Sept 1819 in Follingbo, d 2 Feb 1899.
- Maria Gustafva Martin, b 16 Aug 1822 in
Follingbo.
- Carolina Martin, b 24 Sept 1825 in Follingbo.
Jacob (Jan) Petter was
a taylor in Follingbo and he married (3 Dec 1846 in Follingbo)
Ingrid Cathrina (Cajsa) Ström,
b 11 Nov 1822, d 7 Juli 1899 (Pict.)
. They had four children:
- Carl Johan Petter Martin, b 6 Jun 1848,
d 25 Feb 1898, was a marine-store dealer in Visby. (Pict.)
- Jacob Fredrik Ludvig Martin, b 24 Dec
1853 in Follinbo.
- Oscar Herman Martin, b 27 Sept 1861, d
17 May 1862 .
- Hulda Amalia Elisa Martin, b 14 June 1865 in Nygårds Follingbo
Gotland, d 29 Mars 1916 .
Carl Johan Petter Martin
married (12 October 1884 in Follingbo) Hilma Theodora Enequist,
b 1849, d 1925. (Pict.) They had
two children:

1891.
Herman Emanuel Martin maried Annie Maria
Larsson. They had two children
- Anna-Lisa Martin, b 1 Juli 1915.
- Wivi Martin.
Anna-Lisa Martin married Gunnar Julius,
b 13 May 1916, d 3 Jan 1986. They had five children
- Anders Julius, b 11 Mars 1944.
- Håkan Julius, b 4 June 1945.
- Svante Julius, b 26 Nov 1949.
