The first of the
Nilsson family I knew of was Johan Larsson b about 1770
in Elmersrum?, Hallingeberg, Småland. He married (27
Oct 1793 in Hallingeberg) Ingrid
Nilsdotter b about 1774 in Säby?, Hallingeberg, Småland.
They had four children.
- Lars Jaensson, b 1 July 1794 in Elmersrum,
Hallingeberg, d ?.
- Nils Jaensson,
b 12 Nov 1796 in Elmersrum, Hallingeberg, d 24 Aug 1869 in Hallingeberg.
- Stina Jaensson, b 9 June 1799 in Pluggebo,
Hallingeberg, d ?.
- Petter Jaensson, b 27 Aug 1802 in Dröpstad,
Hallingeberg, ?.
The farmer Nils Jaensson married
(15 August 1824 in Hallingeberg) Anna
Lena Kjellgren from Gamleby, Småland. They had six
children.
- Anna Sophia Nilsson, b 30 Sept 1824 in
Dröpstad, Hallingeberg, Småland, d 8 Nov 1824 in Dröpstad,
Hallingeberg.
- Jaen Petter Nilsson, b b 30 Sept 1824
in Dröpstad, Hallingeberg, Småland, d 17 Nov in Dröpstad,
Hallingeberg.
- Nils Petter Nilsson, b 13 Juli 1826 in Källvestad, Elmersrum,
Hallingeberg, Småland, d 1905? in Follingbo, Gotland?.

- Charlotta Matilda, b 27 Nov 1836 in Jaensbo,

Nils Petter Nilsson
moved to Ukna 3 Nov 1854 from Hallingeberg.The crofter Nils
Petter Nilsson married (26 Dec 1855 in Tjärstad Östergötland)
Eva
Charlotta Pettersdotter, and had seven children. The family moved from Ukna
to Västra Ed the 10 Nov 1864 (3 men, 2 women). They was about
to emigrate to the USA (N. America, 15 Sept 1868), but insted
they moved to Gotland. After 23 June 1870 they lived at the Stora
Wede farmsted in Follingbo Gotland (3 men, 3 women) for a couple
of months. In 22 October 1870 the family moved to Roma. The 21
Oct 1873 the family moved to Visby and the 4 Dec 1874 family moved
back to Follingbo.
- Sofia Wilhelmina
Nilsdotter, born 21 Aug 1856 in
Melby, Ukna, Småland, ?. She emmigrated 4 may 1882 to USA.
- Petter Robert Nilsson, born 19 Sept 1858 in Kolsebro, Ukna, Småland.
He died 1918 in Visby (buried at ground 117 in Follingbo churchyard
in Gotland).
- Anna Mathilda, b 5 May 1861 in Tjädersholm,
Ukna, Småland, d 8 Sept 1861 in Ukna.
- Carl Victor Nilsson, born 14 Dec 1862 in Tjädersholm, Ukna, Småland,
d 13 Mars 1888 in Hejdeby, Gotland.
- Emma Mathilda
Nilsson, born 11 Juli 1865 in Bolebrobrink,
Västra Ed, Småland, d ?. She emmigrated 29 sept 1883
to USA.
- Anna Lovisa Nilsson, 28 May 1868 in Bolebrobrink,
Västra Ed, Småland, d 10 Aug 1868 in Bolebrobrink,
Västra Ed.
- Gustaf Adolf Nilsson, born 8 Sept 1870 in Stora Wede, Follingbo, Gotland,
d?.
Robert Nilsson went
to the USA 20 April 1883 (New York) and worked at first on the
railwys in Minnesota and then was owner (master) of a mine in
Nova, Des Moines, Iowa 1888. He returned to Gotland (27 September
1890) and married (2 Nov 1890, in Follingbo) Hulda Martin
(b 14 June 1865 in Follingbo). First they lived at Stora Wede
farmsted and then about 1893 at the farmsted Klinte in Follingbo.
They had five children
- Karl Petrus
Emanuel Nilsson, born 20 Juli 1891 in Stora Wede? Follingbo.
He died 28 jul 1947 in Visby. He married Gerda Wilhelmina Dahlström.
- John Arthur Nilsson, born 20
Juli 1893 in Klinte Follingbo. He died 23 Dec 1955 in Frösön.
He married Ellen Dahlman.
- Knut
Robert Fredrik Nilsson, born 31 Mars 1899 in Klinte Follingbo.
He died 27 jul 1924 in Visby.
- Thure Axel Harald Nilsson, born 1 April 1905 in Klinte Follingbo.
He died 8 Nov 1978 in Vallentuna. (Pict.)
- Hans Erik Hilding Nilsson, born
21 Febr 1908 in Klinte Follingbo. He died 19 Oct 1973 in Klinte.
He married Lisa Ester Maria Pettersson.
Axel Nilsson was married
twice. First time (27 feb 1932) to Signe Jönsson
from Lit, Östersund. Second time (30 April 1960) to Märtha
Andersson from Borlänge b 2 April 1914, d 29 October 1996.
He moved to Frösön, Jämtland 10 Aug 1925. He and
Signe Jönsson have two children:

b 1932 in Frösön, Jämtland,

S Nilsson, b 1938 in Frösön,
