Genealogical tree of the Gorbat/Garbut family,
starting with Noah Gorbat/Garbut (#494)

Note: Some members of the family spelled their name Gorbat (e.g. Avrom "Abrasha"
Gorbat, #91) and some Garbut (e.g. Nathan "Nejach" Garbut, #492). (I have also heard
the version Gorbut). The "division line" seems to go between the Belorussian branch of
the family (Gorbat) and the American branch (Garbut). It appears that the original name
could have been Gorbat, but it has been changed into Garbut in the U.S.
