BIO
My name is Dennis Jacobsson,
captain on this web-corner.
I was born 1968 in Gothenburg where I still live and work.
Exept for my family, I have two real passions in life:
MUSIC - to consume, and ART - to produce.
I´m a painter and illustrator
with a broad field, but first
of all I consider myself as a fantasy- / SF-painter with
a kind of psychedelic twist on things.
Here´s as small selection of my work. The intention is to
update the site pretty often. I have Swedish site too which
contains my illustrating works and commissions. It´s called
"DJ Illustration".
I´m proud to say that Steven
Wilson ( Porcupine Tree),
Fish ( ex Marillion) and Thomas Bodin ( Flower Kings)
have my paintings in their homes.
I think that art can be a magic
experience. But the artist
him- or herself is not interesting. No, it´s a thing between
the object and the beholder. Therefor I´m not keen on telling
everybody what the paintings are about. It´s YOUR opinion
