LECTURE/PERFORMANCE

The first presentation I did in this series was about former Swedish prime minister Olof Palme (2001).
Since 2001 I have been working with an ongoing series of lectures on different subjects. I come up with a topic that I am interested in at the moment and I buy a couple of coffee table books at Amazon. Then I study for a few weeks and I scan images from the books. When it's time for the talk I do my best to make it professional like an ordinary expert.
Lectures 2001-2006:

- The Cosa Nostra
- The Hope Diamond
- The History Of The Dry Martini

Lecture about Dry Martini at the Museum of Wine and Spririts in Stockholm (2003).
The first few lectures I did was in the white cube and I decided the subjects myself. But in 2003 I was commisioned to do a presentation for the first time. It was an event called Happy Hour at the Museum of Wine and Spirits in Stockholm organized by the artist group love&devotion about the positive and glamourous aspects of alcohol. I was asked to do a lecture about coctail culture. In the end I talked about the history of the Dry Martini.

Lecture about Dry Martini at the Museum of Wine and Spririts in Stockholm (2003). In the audience there were many people with a special interest in wine and drinking culture. I was worried what they would think of me the fake expert but they seemed to appriciate my talk.
