Since she is unemployed she cannot escape watching the news day and night. All of a sudden her past comes back and vivid memories of her childhood, her youth as well as dreams and disappointments emerge. Her present daily life is getting mixed with the memories of there and then as she imagines her friends from her early youth to come by at nights and sit with her in silence. Scenes are shifting between Baghdad and Berlin and a surreal atmosphere arises. She escaped dictatorship and was waiting to go back home one day but life took a different course and the last war on Iraq clearly showed her that there is neither a way back home nor a home left. She used to consider herself waiting in a kind of station for something to happen that would change everything and bring her back home, as most fellow countrymen of her generation in exile.
