... well yes, of course, the alter ego name Wilmer T could not be without the facts of Wilmer X.
Though not the only reason for the name Wilmer T, this is sure a major lead...

My story

Well, have faith...

Let's just say I started my Wilmer X fan days when I heard a tune on the radio, for the first time really listening to Blood or gold and suddenly realizing that this was something I knew of but had completely missed out on so far.
And yet it was so right...

Too many tongues, saying just the same
My ears are bleeding from unnescessary talk
Too many fingers in the same sticky mass
too many glances for me to cope at all

So I gather up my gear, load up my gun
Counting the few things I've got
I hardly have no friends, but I say a short farewell

...well I got me the record, Djungelliv (Junglelife), and then I was hooked...

Wilmer X have won a Swedish Grammy as best rock band not once, not twice, but three times. Whatever it takes to stay there, they've got it. After the 1994 release of their first album in English for many years, "Snakeshow", they went back to their own unique Swedish style with the 1995 "Hallå Världen" ("Hello World"). Wilmer X are a six-piece band, although at times it seems they are more than that when they really get moving on stage. They play a blend of r&b, rock and smooth, sorrowful ballads, all with their own particular brand of intensity, passion and a strong dose of humour.
